Flora has over 15 years of experience working with children and young people, first as a teacher and more recently as a counsellor. Flora works in both a school setting and private practice helping children and adolescents overcome difficulties including behavioural problems, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger management, bereavement, issues at school and difficult family relationships. Warm, understanding and non-judgemental, Flora blends her professional experience with an in-depth knowledge of contemporary cognitive-behavioural therapies. Flora believes that the use of evidence-based techniques such as CBT, problem solving strategies, mindfulness and working closely with the family system can allow children to overcome barriers to growth and enhance well-being.

Flora has a BA and PGCE from the UK and gained her Master of Counselling from Monash University, Australia. She is a proud member of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA). 

Flora is from the UK, has lived in Hong Kong for eight years and is mother to two young children and stepmother to two teenagers.
