CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY, CHILD PSYCHOLOGY
Héloïse holds a Master’s Degree in psychology from Geneva University as well as a Postgraduate Degree in clinical psychology from Lausanne University.
She has over 10 years’ professional experience in the area of mental health where she has supported and treated adults suffering from mental and addictive disorders. She then took on a role as a school psychologist and her main professional focus has since been on working with children and families displaying various ailments such as, but not limited to, behavioral, learning and interpersonal disorders as well as issues related to family dynamics. Her work notably consisted in performing psychological assessments and follow-ups with children, holding interviews and meetings together with family members and liaising with the children’s networks (e.g. teachers, doctors).
Héloïse works with children (from 5 years old), teenagers and adults. Consultations are in French and may cover the following:
• Interpersonal and relationship issues
• Learning disorders
• Behavorial disorders (agitation, anger)
• Issues related to expatriation, integration and migration
• Issues related to family and family dynamics
• Addictive disorders (substance abuse, gambling, eating disorders)
During her career, Héloïse has also followed several courses and trainings covering the psychoanalytic psychotherapy approach. In her work, Héloïse endeavors to provide a reassuring, comforting and confidential space for dialogue and exchange to help patients elaborate on their issues and sufferings with a view to encourage change and foster wellbeing.
