SOPHROLOGY
Marie-Laure Allen studied Sophrology at the “Ecole Francaise de Sophrologie” and holds diplomas in psycho-behavioural sophrology and relaxation therapy. She belongs to the “Chambre syndicale française de sophrologie” and follows their code of practice. She works with adults, teenagers and children and practices both in French and in English.
She is French and has lived abroad most of her life. She has worked in Financial Services in London for 20 years before moving to Hong Kong and discovering Sophrology as a mind-body method of healing and calming.
Sophrology helps to harmoniously develop our physical and psychological abilities and our inner resources and improve our performance as well as our ability to adapt to change. It improves sleep, helps overcome our fears and enables us to find our balance and joy in life. It uses imagination as a tool of change and evolution.
Who can benefit?
Sophrology can help those dealing with stress, anxiety, low self-confidence, insomnia, burnout, chronic fatigue, birth preparation, pain and depression. Sophrology is applicable in everyday life including relationships, exam preparation, public speaking and interviews. It is also effective in competitive sports and stage performance.
