Supporting the CIS Free Clinic
Last Saturday we hosted another edition of the Free Clinic with the Chinese International School!
What is the CIS Free Clinic?
Going on for 3 years now, the Free Clinic is an initiative by CIS students who's goal is to bring free medical care to those who need it. Working with several ONGs like St Barnabas’ Church, Branches of Hope and Christian Action, they organise a Free Clinic day with volunteer practitioners to offer free medical treatment to communities that wouldn't otherwise have easy access.
What do WE do to help out?
We have been collaborating since 2016, bringing together our GPs, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Naturopaths and many more professionals from the healthcare community.
This last event was hosted for the first time at our new practice in Central, Central Wellness. The student volunteers always work very hard to organise each event, and the outcome reflects that. We thank them for all of their hard work and for the opportunity to volunteer!
We'd also like to thank the practitioners that collaborated in this edition:
Carol Cam, Physiotherapist
Victoria Crowe, Physiotherapist
Marie-Odile Ringue, Kinesiologist
Jo Herbert-Doyle, Naturopath
Sandra Carvajal, Nutritionist, Health Coach & Yoga Instructor
Guillaume Guiroud, Osteopath
Dr Damien Mouellic, Osteopath
